You Had Me at “Hello!”
Welcome to Ryan’s Movie Corner! If you didn’t get the reference in the title, you can leave right now. *crickets* I’m kidding! Seriously, though. Thank you for being here! If you didn’t get the reference, I’m hoping I can fix that.
*cough* Jerry Maguire (1996) *cough*
I love movies. Like, LOVE them. To the point that I tend to drive my friends and family a little insane. But you’re here because you love movies too, right? *collective nodding* Woohoo! I’ve found my people!
Okay…you asked for it!
People often ask my opinion on one movie or another. Because of that – and because you’re movie people too, so you understand me – one of the main things you’ll see on Ryan’s Movie Corner is movie reviews. I will mainly be reviewing new releases. Partially because that’s what most people want to read about. Let’s be honest, though. It’s mainly to give me an excuse to get over to the theater more often.
Here on Ryan’s Movie Corner, you’ll also see articles that aren’t reviews. These may be my thoughts and opinions on specific movies without being a full review, or thoughts on a broad topic like black-and-white movies. There will also be lists thrown into the mix, like “My Top 10 Picks of 2018” or “25 Movies of Christmas.”
In case you hadn’t figured this out yet, I can talk all day about movies. They are a great temporary escape from our everyday lives. If you have thoughts, questions, or just want to chat about movies and the film industry, hit me up! You can reach out to me at ryansmoviecorner@gmail.com, or from the About Ryan page.
Happy watching!
